Welcome to GCLEA's Islam4Kidz Sunday School.

We are a weekend school community that meets on Sunday mornings.

 

Our Mission is to create confident and knowledgeable Muslim Americans who demonstrate their Deen through their character, actions and words.

 

Program Goals

•      Age-appropriate BASICS of Islamic doctrine with a focus on the lives of the prophets (peace be upon them) and the Seerah.

•      Master wudu and prayer and understand what it means to practice the 5 pillars of Islam and believe in the 6 pillars of faith.

•      Learn Islamic etiquette in regards to their peers, their elders and their teachers.

•      Provide a basic understanding of the spirituality of Islam.

•      Teach age-appropriate Arabic and Quran Tajweed.

•      Memorize select surahs from the 29 and 30 Juz

•      Read proficiently from the Mushaf with proper Tajweed without assistance. 

•      Create a Sunday School Community in our masjid- among peers and parents

Our academic calendar runs from September to June. Registration opens in the summer and can only be completed online. When open, registration can be found on the home page.
