Adult Study Circle: The Prophet's Biography

In this Adult Study Circle we will studying the Prophet's biography.

To launch this program, we will begin with the primer, Al-Tuḥfah al-Ẓarīfah fī al-Sīrah al-Sharīfah by the eminent scholar and jurist Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿAlī al-Buhūtī al-Khalwatī al-Ḥanbalī (1088H). This concise epistle on the biography (sīrah) of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ highlights key events from this noble biography. The author begins with the lineage and birth of the Prophet ﷺ, followed by significant events prior to the Hijrah, then the migration itself and what occurred thereafter until the Prophet’s death ﷺ. He then dedicates a section to mentioning some of the miracles of the Prophet ﷺ, followed by another discussing aspects of his personal life and noble character. The treatise concludes with a brief introduction to the ten companions who were promised Paradise—may Allah be pleased with them all.
